ASTM STANDARD
ASTM International, formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials, is one of the world’s largest and most respected voluntary standards development organizations. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides a global forum for the development and publication of voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.

ISO STANDARD
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization that develops and publishes International Standards. Founded in 1947 and based in Geneva, Switzerland, ISO brings together national standards bodies from over 160 countries to create consensus-based standards that facilitate international trade, ensure product and service quality, safety, and efficiency, and promote innovation.

BIS STANDARD
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standards Body (NSB) of India. BIS is the Indian counterpart to organizations like ASTM (USA), ISO (International), and DIN (Germany). However, unlike many of its international peers that develop voluntary standards, a significant function of BIS is the mandatory certification of certain products for public health, safety, and environmental protection.
